On Windows 10 installed AVG Internet security over AVG business Antivirus which had been working perfectly for months including Identity Protection. Now AVG Internet security Identity protection will not activate says disabled and Fix now will not work. Steps taken: -uninsatlled AVG protection -Ran AVG uninstall -reinstalled AVG protection same thing Identity Protection DIsabled -ran fix performance stii no change -contacted permium support for free consultation and you could tell they had no clue. Sorry I don't want to reinstall windows...
Please help me get Identity protection back on line.
The problem is with the AVG Multidevice program (windows10), the AVG business edition program worked perfectly for months previous to the AVG Multidevice program installation, -I have also ran repair several time on the Multidevice AVG programf from Control panel/programs and features/uninstall , but Identity Protection is still diabled.
@ Balasubramanian (AVG Technologies) Balasubramanian, User Richard Hart has confirmed problem is with the AVG Multidevice program (windows10). Cannot see a Business edition Multidevice program (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/download-business). AVG Guru
Please take your time and read my response. Both the Protection Plus multidevice and the Antivius Business edition products have this Identity Protection Disabled problem with my Windows 10 (32-bit) installation. I switched from the Protection Plus Multidevice which had the problem to the Antivius Business edition and it worked for a while and now has also developed the Identity Protection disabled problem as well. I have now switched back to multidevice but it still has the problem so now I am stuck. I used the removal tool after unistalling each product, but it made no difference the, Identity protection service will not start with the FIX NOW or even if I try to start it manually in Windows component services.
