Extra tab to AVG addon when launching Opera browser
I am running AVG Internet Security on Windows 10. Starting recently, every time I launch my Opera browser I get a second tab to the URL https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/extensions/details/avg-online-security/. How do I stop this?

Hi Chris, Thank you for the screenshot. Could you please open the AVG Antivirus and click setting. Then disable the AVG extension from the window and check whether the issue still persists. Thanks and Keep us updated about the status.

Hi Aarthy, The AVG extension was already disabled in AVG Internet Security settings, however I seem to have fixed the problem by following the steps given by John Pickering here: https://support.avg.com/answers#!/feedtype=SINGLE_QUESTION_DETAIL&dc=All&criteria=ALLQUESTIONS&id=9065p000000gqxZAAQ
