AVG Driver Updater Installation Error "The subject is not trusted for the specified action"

Hello, No doubt this gets asked occasionally but not an error I've met before.

I have AVG Driver Updater with multiple licenses as I look after my own computers, those of my children and also my aged mother in law... She has a new laptop so I installed AVG Ultimate on it - NO problem whatsoever... BUT when I came to install AVG Driver Updater I keep getting this error message coming up... Is it linked to the fact that her laptop is Windows 10 and the rest of my charges are on Windows 7?

Many thanks

Hi, I have a similar issue. I purchased Driver Updater 3 days ago but the link did not work and I got sent to a trial download page.
That did not work either. Eventually, I downloaded the Upgrade but I keep getting the 'subject is not trusted ' error. I tried to click the link you mention above. Just as I arrive at the link page, it disappears as 'page cannot be found' error. Can you help, please?
Thank you.
Best,
Graham

Received the same error listed by others when trying to run the updater.  Downloaded the updater .exe file listed in this thread and it worked just fine.  Not sure why the updater will not run from within the open software? But thanks for posting solution anyway.  I wonder if this will be the same issue every time I try and run the updater in the future???

I have had a similar problem calling all the driver updates as a trojan, Now on installing a new version  AVG antivirus blocks the installation!
