I updated my Mac to the new Mac Sierra operating system (Public Beta 4) and have found that AVGOnAccess.kext is incompatible. I tried downloading and installing the latest available version of AVG for Mac but it is still a problem. Support wanted to charge me $169 to fix this (but I doubt they can, and I am not prepared to pay for them to debug their product). Any ideas?
Hello Paul, We regret for the inconvenience caused. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee functionality of AVG products on Beta versions of operating system. We will fully support MacOS Sierra once the final version is released. Thank you.
Suggest You Guys Start Booking On Supporting Sierra (Mac OS) Very Soon. Release Is Coming Next Month. Being A Developer Would Have Expected A Beta Version Of Sierra Soon. Since I am A paid Member On The AVG Zen Network I Am Amazed About This Problem.
Interesting Thing Is The Other Virus Protection Products Made By Other Companies Seem To Be Working On My Mac Pro With No Problems With The New Software.
Be Interesting Too See When AVG Comes Out With Their Update Too Sierra
