What's the changelog for the new;y released AVG PC Tuneup version 20.1.2064.0? Why you guys don't maintain a proper website or blog where the changelog can be maintained & mentioned by the dev/company for ease?
Thanks but as I said, be it major or minor, changelog should've clearly mentioned by AVG devs in any official forum/website or any blogpost like the other company's & products. Hope they'd listen to this suggestion.
We usually inform the changes through a window that would appear as soon as AVG program updated to new version. Please find the changes and fixes that we made with 20.1 AVG TuneUp release: • Recover utility for Program Deactivator (Sleep Mode) in case a common approach does not work and the user has programs "stuck" in sleep mode. • Fixed detection of SSD drives in Defrag feature so defrag is not offered for SSDs anymore. • Fixed crash of service. • Fixed missing GUID in Icarus installation after migration from previous version (19.1). • Adjusted IPM post-update screen in order to not show the same content multiple times in case of micro updates (Hot Fixes). • Updated vNext component to include the latest changes related to Driver Updater and AVG Battery Saver we are about to release soon. • Lot of bug fixes to improve the product functionality and stability. Thank you.
FYI, my AVG PC Tuneup AUtomatically updated to that newest version 20.1.2064.0 & didn't notify me about the new changelog although that option is enabled in Settings.
Nevertheless, as I said, again, I strongly feel changelog should've clearly mentioned by AVG devs in any official forum/website or any blogpost like the other company's & products. Because if any user wants to know check or read the changelog later, or if any reason that skipped showing after being updated, then the user can always go to the respective website/blog post to read or re-read the changelog.
Why is it so difficult to understand this simple thing (fact) & to implement? Are we asking too much for the price we're paying? Just a simple changelog blog maintainer
Thank you for the clarification, Soul. We nowrealize your concern with the change logs. If you are using AVG Antivirus free program, you can submit this as a feedback from "Menu->About->Submit Feedback" settings.
Firstly, I am using AVG PC TuneUp, not AVG Antivirus free program
Secondly, I am a paid user, not using any free product.
Lastly, there is no option in AVG PC Tuneup to submit feedback so am writing here.
& Today again, I noticed a newer version 20.1.2071.0 in Sumo & my copy of AVG PC TuneUp didn't update automatically. That comes to another suggestion, implement a Check for Update system inside the programme.
This is not a major update nothing special
What's new in AVG TuneUp product?
