VPN not working

I am in the Canary Islands and which ever one of the 3 use Glasgow, London or Wonderland.
                                                                                                  
I get;                                                                                      
'Not available in your Region' when I try to use BBC iPlayer.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
We will check and help you with this issue.
Please open the AVG Secure VPN program window.
Click on "Change location" and select the locations available under "Streaming" and "P2P".
Check which location from it allows you to access BBC iplayer.
You can also connect to streaming servers (locations) such as Glasgow, Wonderland, or Gotham City in AVG Secure VPN to check if it allows you to access BBC iPlayer.
