Error code: 0xE0010002 Description: Event exec_finished
I had downloaded the trial version and when it expired I tried to install the free version but it will not install or uninstall. It gives me this error code when I try to uninstall it. Does anyone know why? Or what it means and how to fix it?

We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. We would request you to uninstall any conflicting anti virus or anti malware programs if installed on your computer. Then please run the AVG remover tool to remove all the remnants of the failed installation as described below. After you run the remover tool successfully, please download and install AVG using offline installation file based on your OS ( 32 bit or 64 bit).
To run remover tool, please visit http://www.avg.com/tools#tba2 and click on "AVG Remover" to download the remover tool and run it on your PC. It will ask you to select which product you would like to uninstall. Please select "AVG Protection" and follow the setup instructions to uninstall AVG.
Then to determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link.http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218 .
